TRAUMA

Are you, or someone you care about experiencing the symptoms of trauma? It can be in the form of nightmares, flashbacks, the inability to feel safe or difficulties in relationships and maintaining a job.  Do you feel like your life has been shattered?

Traumatic events can include: near-death experiences; defense service experiences, witnessing a crime, supporting a loved one in palliative care, suffering from death or divorce from a spouse, Family separation, victim of torture, domestic violence, physical or emotional abuse, childhood abuse and many other forms of abuse. Trauma can include the experience of trauma on a regular basis or as a single incident.

As we work together in therapy, you will be supported in finding a space to allow experiences to be acknowledged and you will learn ways to allow a new normal, a rich full meaningful life to be lived. Are you ready to live your life, not chained to PTSD or surviving, but rather post trauma thriving?

LIFE TRANSITIONS

 Are you feeling like you are out of sorts but don’t really know why?

Life transitions of any kind can be challenging and stressful and can bring up a range of intense and conflicted emotions. Have you found that you are no longer enjoying life? Does everything seem difficult? Have you started using unhealthy strategies to cope with stress?   Not sure what to do next?

Perhaps you don’t feel motivated to go to work, your debt is growing, and it seems as though you can’t move on. You may benefit from looking at some of the unhelpful patterns and unwanted habits in your life, identifying the sources of your stress, and acknowledging the main challenges that prevent you from being healthy and fulfilled
